The Press Studio

This is a new, small creative wing of my world, a place to gather printed pieces that bring music, art, and daily life together. It will include posters, designs, and photographs made to be enjoyed and shared. Printed to order, one small batch at a time.

The Press Studio opens with A Singer’s Paradigm — a print design that grew from years of reflection on what it means to live a singer’s life. Not about teaching or technique alone, but the daily practice of attention, curiosity, and tenacity.

In time, this space will also hold other printed pieces that creatively speak to the same values: things made slowly, thought about deeply, and shared because they might steady or inspire someone else. Daily treasures.

A Singer's Paradigm

I didn’t set out to design an A2 poster; the project grew naturally from the questions that inhabit you when you spend a lifetime with learning a craft: what matters, what lasts, and what really shapes you.

Each line has its roots in real experience. They are the things I’ve learned and passed on over time, about what it means to stay the course, to study honestly, to keep showing up. It’s about how we live with the joy of the work, not just how we do it.

The paradigm reminds us that a singer’s life is not separate from Life itself. It’s the same rhythm of curiosity and perseverance that shapes every craft worth learning - it takes time and self-belief.

Each A2 poster is printed to order on smooth, soft-sheen art paper, carefully packed by hand, and sent in a sturdy poster tube, ready to hang or frame. UK postage is included; orders are dispatched within the United Kingdom only.

This is a small-batch pre-order. Posters are printed locally in limited runs, so delivery times may vary slightly depending on the current print cycle. As a guide, please allow up to two weeks from ordering to delivery. Each copy is quality-checked by me before posting.

The Press Studio: In the Works

This space brings together selected images from my archive — photographs and artworks chosen for their atmosphere, balance, and capacity to hold attention over time. Some are familiar places, others quieter moments, but all are works I return to myself.

The Press Studio is a space where visual work is shared thoughtfully and allowed to unfold. Some pieces are already available to purchase — others are currently in the making. New works will appear gradually as the collection continues to take shape and, in time, will be available in different forms: printed cards, paper pieces, and future wall art.

Alongside my own photography, The Press Studio will also feature an original artwork collaboration, presented with the same care and restraint. New pieces will appear as the collection continues to grow and take shape.

Dartington Hall

Dartington has been a constant presence in my life as a musician for decades — as a place of learning, listening, and making music in community. It's a place of beauty. I have been blessed to have it in my life.

Many of my photographs return to it naturally. Not as documentation, but as noticing: light, warmth, colour, space, and the feeling of being there.

These images sit alongside my teaching and singing work — shaped by the same ethos, learning by doing.
